The bird cantata on CD contains 14 songs Valgeir Guðjónsson with the bird song of Jóhannes úr Kötlar, but his daughter Vigdís Vala sings with him on the album.
The music has fallen into very good soil people of all ages but Valgeir has held a number of Bird Concerts in the spring in Eyrarbakkakirkja and will continue to do so.
Valgeir also visits school and takes children of all ages into the world birds of the sky

Jóhannes' genius is undisputed and his sensitivity in descriptions of people, animals and nature
is deep and true. The composer Valgeir found out early the poet's musical talent,
for there are no errors in his poems, which thus correspond closely to the song that resides in them.
