At Eyrarbakki, the twilight of the new year is a scene of joy - 
stories, songs and food in the stomach.
 

While we wait for spring and bloom, it is good to share pleasant moments
with the family,  friends and colleagues.
 

The new year features Bakkastofudagrograms  in the spirit of the season.
We at Bakkastofa use our own fuel and not least use the gold mine
the good ethnographer Árni Björnsson as material and igniter.

We reminisce about folklore and stories that have sprung from darkness and resources in times of need, mixed with lightness with music and a coffee or dinner table.
in the spirit of the second half of winter.
