Twilight and Advent

At Eyrarbakki, the autumn and Advent twilight is activated in the stories of song and food in the stomach.

Odum is shortened to Advent, which we associate with both sacred customs and sexual beings, but also with the need to share pleasant times with the family,
friends and colleagues.

At the beginning of November, we will start with mixed programs of various kinds, but not least we will use Árni Björnsson's gold mine as material and igniter.

We reminisce about folklore that springs from darkness and resources in times of need, mixed with lightness with music and a coffee or dinner table in the spirit of Advent.

20 light towers on Eyrarbakki now carry signs that revolve around our own Icelandic language  Santas and most of them have in common that they have strange names.

The signs can be viewed either on foot or from a car and ideal to imagine
what is behind the names on them.
