Valgeir Guðjónsson has lived and worked in music and art-related projects for many years.  

His songs sound widespread and it is safe to say that most Icelanders know more than one or two of them.
 

Valgeiri enjoys performing his work and in recent years he has done more and more of singing and chatting with foreign guests who come to Iceland.

His program at Bakkastofa intertwines stories and information about the country, nation and culture, as well as music and lyrics in English, as well as individual Icelandic "lullaby songs".  

The program revolves in part around a section of songs and texts about people in the historical age, where a glimpse is made into the minds of those who then inhabited the country.

And as usual, the humor is not far off either.
