Bakkastofa is a cultural and educational center in a historic building and surroundings in Eyrarbakki. The main emphasis is on music and story vigils for groups. Minimum number of 10 people. 

Valgeir Guðjónsson, musician, and Ásta Kristrún Ragnarsdóttir, study counselor and local organizer, are the hosts of Bakkastofa and the program performers. For years, they have made a name for themselves in the field of culture and education and live and work in the almost 100-year-old shopping center that stands on the main street of the village.
